I am a graduate student in the Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese Department majoring in Hispanic Linguistics. Within the field, my interests lie in phonology, phonetics, and psycholinguistics. Under the supervision of Dr. Chip Gerfen, I am currently engaged in research on bidialectal phonology in Andalusia, Spain. We take an experimental psycholinguistic approach to study the phonological variability exhibited by speakers of both Andalusian Spanish and Standard Peninsular Spanish. |
