Steps
Creating a Web page, like your online portfolio, is a multi-step process.
- The first step is to create the pages, including all images.
- After the pages are made, they must be posted to a Web space such as your Penn State Personal Home
Web Page Creation Tools
There are a variety of Web tools available and traning opportunities to use them. Here is a list of a few of them.

| Penn State Personal Web Page Templates | Fill out a form to create a Web page which can be uploaded. Once created, the page can be later modified with another tool. |

| Macromedia Dreamweaver | This is a professional grade tool which does not require you to learn HTML. It is available in the labs and at an educational discount from the Penn State Computer Store. |
|
| Microsoft Front Page | Another easy Web editor to learn with a variety of tools. |
|
| Mozilla Composer or Netscape Composer | An easy Web editor to learn, but best for single pages or small sites. |
|
| Learn HTML | Once you learn the HTML tags, you can hand build pages and take advantage of all HTML capabilities |
