Timeline
You can begin work during any semester, but you must have your portfolio approved prior to graduation. Specific deadlines for completion of a portfolio each fall and spring semester is two weeks before final written theses are due. See the Graduate School Calendar for the most current dates.
Note: If you have already been using technology in your teaching, you can begin compiling your portfolio immediately. Otherwise, it is suggested you learn different technologies before you begin your portfolio
How to Sign Up
- To signup, locate your department's TWT representative and contact that person to state your interest in the program. If your department has no representative, e-mail twtc@psu.edu.
- Determine which types of training you might need.
- Subscribe to the L-TWT Listserv to receive announcements on training opportunities and key deadlines.
- After your training, develop and post your portfolio online. You can contact twtc@psu.edu for critiques and guideline questions.
- Contact your departmental TWT representative for a final review for the certificate.
