The ANGEL Course Management System has the following tools which can help you facilitate team management.

  1. Team Editor (Manage Tab > Teams) - Allows you to assign students to teams, including multiple team assignments and randomized team assignments.
  2. Team Files (Manage Tab > Teams) - When assigning teams, you have the option of creating a team file space where students can share files.
  3. E-Mail (Communicate Tab) - Once teams are assigned, you can send e-mails to individual teams as can students
  4. Discussion Forums (Lessons) - An asynchronous discussion board area which can be set for individual teams
  5. Live Chat (Communicate Tab) - A synchronous communication tool. You can build one for each team.
  6. Calendar - Once teams are assigned, you can make appointments with individual teams.

Team Tools for Students

  1. Team Files (Communicate Tab) - When assigning teams, you have the option of creating a tem file space where students can share files.
  2. Groups - If students need access to the full range of ANGEL editing tools, then you can create a group for each team and enroll the students as editors (or they can create one). In a group, students can set up their own folders, message boards, chat rooms, surveys and more.
