Podcasts

What is it?

A Web-based audio broadcast which you can download or subscribe to. The term "podcast" derives from "broadcast" and "iPod", but you don't need to have an iPod to play one. A podcast can be played back on any computer or device that supports the MP3 format.

Quick-Start

  1. Setup your podcast with the iTunes U Dashboard.
  2. Get the necessary software and equipment or schedule Digital Commons studio time.
  3. Record and edit your recording.
  4. Publish your podcast online (e.g., iTunes U or Blogs at Penn State)
