- Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is a collaboration tool that includes videoconferencing, application sharing, live polling, chat, whiteboards, and presentations. Live, synchronous interactions take place on your desktop. Information and resources are available at http://meeting.psu.edu/.
- ANGEL
Penn State's Course Management System, ANGEL, is a software application that enables instructors to manage course materials, communication, quizzing, surveys, and grading from one online location without the need to know HTML.
- eLion
eLion is an online system that provides students with the information and services needed to initiate and complete academic programs and faculty with the information needed to successfully advise and teach students.
- EndNote
EndNote bibliographic software enables you to connect with the University Libraries' LIAS catalogue and many of its databases to download citations, then import them into a research paper, dissertation, or book in any of the most widely used formats, such as APA and MLA.
- Friends of Penn State
The Friends of Penn State (FPS) service allows a person outside Penn State who does not have a Penn State Access Account to create a digital identity to access a variety of Web-based resources and services.
- LIAS
Access the University Libraries' Library Information Access System (LIAS) via the Web.
- Listservs
You may request a listserv, a type of mailing list that allows you and/or your students to send e-mail to a single address, and then have that e-mail re-sent to everyone on the list.
- PsuThesi Thesis/Dissertation Template
PsuThesi is a Penn State thesis package including Word templates, styles, and programmed functions which help produce a dissertation, master's thesis, or Schreyer honors thesis according to University guidelines.
- Turnitin Plagiarism Detection and Prevention Tool
Turnitin.com is a Web-based plagiarism detection and prevention system to which Penn State has a subscription. It can be used to teach students how to work with sources and to raise awareness of paraphrasing and quoting skills in order to avoid plagiarism.
