Consultation for Faculty
- Faculty Multimedia Center
The Faculty Multimedia Center provides faculty with the technology to manipulate and edit audio, video, and image files, with experienced consultants to answer questions.
- Instructional Designers (e-mail)
TLT instructional designers provide consultation to faculty on effective ways to incorporate technology in teaching to enhance learning and class management.
- Instructional Software Installation in Labs
Instructors may request that Classroom and Lab Computing install software on lab and technology classroom machines.
- Training On Demand
Use the Training On Demand Request Wizard to schedule a training session by ITS Training Services on the topic of choice for your group.
- Technology Learning Assistants
Faculty may request five to ten free, one-on-one tutoring sessions in their office from a student Technology Learning Assistant on topics including file management, e-mail, PowerPoint, Excel, Web page development, electronic gradebook software, and other applications and tools. TLAs can also demonstrate how to use Penn State services such as ANGEL 7.1, podcasting and iTunes U, Adobe Connect desktop videoconferencing, ITS Streaming Services, and the Blogs at Penn State pilot program.
