Description
These are a series of graphic images depicting hypothetical intelligent life forms outside of Earth. Appeareances are based on different environmental conditions and philosophical conditions. These were originally used as characters in an introductory astronomy course to introduce students to different philosophical concepts of astronomy.

Hypothetical Species
- Appreciates Beauty - This species appreciates beauty for its own sake.
- Believes in Creator - This is a culture which believes the universe was created by a creator
- Dark Energy - This species living on an active volcanic world would like to harvest the power of dark energy
- Early and Concieted - One of the earliest species, they feel they are very special among the stars.
- Happy Go Lucky - They feel that nothing ever stays the same and live for the moment
- Lives Forever - An immortal species, but they long for a change. They a have metal skins and powerful builds.
- Not Alone Anymore - They've learned that they're not alone in the universe and are somewhat "typical". A "small, animal-like" species.
- Particle Species - JPEG ONLY - Geometrically pure species made from the 30 kinds of particles.
- The Professor - An intellectual species specializing in particle physics and willing to share their knowledge with others.
- Power Wings - Although their butterfly-like wings seem "ethereal", this species really wants to harvest explosive energy
- The Riddler - An outgoing species which likes to ask riddles. By sheer coincidence, the resemble leprechauns of Irish mythology.
