An overview of the business goals and objects that will be achieved through the Penn State Workflow Project as well as a demonstration of the Workflow System and the initial forms that have been automated and deployed in a limited capacity thus far.
Workflow is Penn State's Web-based hosting system for University academic, administrative, and financial management processes, especially those involving review and approval needs. Workflow is a strategic initiative being developed by Information Technology Services (ITS) and focuses on improving business practices by automating and streamlining the required routing and approval steps.
