The presenters will describe the long and often tedious process needed to preserve and analyze computer evidence. Oftentimes the public is lulled by a "CSI" complex into believing that analysis can be done instantly with 100% accuracy. The actual process is much more involved and requires professional, highly trained analysts to acquire, preserve, analyze and report on computer evidence. The presenters will use real world examples, sanitized, to help illustrate the forensic process.
