- This report details the training statistics and other significant work of ITS Training Services over the course of the summer 2010 semester. Included are the number of training sessions offered, training topics and formats, participant numbers, communication efforts, trends, and additional observations.
- Educational Gaming Commons Fall 2009
- This report summarizes the Fall 2009 activities for the Educational Gaming Commons. Majors highlights include the EGC development projects and the new EGC Lab designed for research, teaching, and learning.
- Faculty Guide to Teaching through Videoconferencing
- A "primer" for faculty who are relatively new to using videoconferencing for teaching, including suggestions and examples. Updated at the end of 2009, the purpose of this guide is to be a pedagogical primer for faculty who are relatively new to using videoconferencing to teach a course. The guide contains a list of questions that have been asked by faculty along with suggestions and examples provided by experienced videoconferencing instructors. These suggestions were supported based on research in the field of distance education. The guide does not go into technical details on operating videoconferencing equipment, since each setup has a unique set of features and controls.
