Teaching and Learning with Technology Annual Report, 2008-2009

The strategic plans that we made at a time of optimism had to be revised in light of new challenges brought by the economic collapse in 2007-08. However, TLT has done many things to make this a better university.

Informal Learning Spaces Vision Document

Informal learning spaces are areas on campus where students read, study, and collaborate on group assignments. During the Spring 2009 semester, a group of faculty and staff investigated the existing spaces around the University Park campus and and summarized their findings. The report details the design characteristics of the existing spaces that make them popular with students, the types of spaces around campus, identified needs and next steps, and components of an assessment plan.

This report details the training statistics and other significant work of ITS Training Services over the course of the spring 2009 semester. Included are the number of training sessions offered, training topics and formats, participant numbers, communication efforts, trends, and additional observations.
