Technology assistance available to faculty for spring 2012 semester

Through the Technology Learning Assistant (TLA) program, faculty members at University Park may apply to have a technology-savvy student provide one-on-one assistance on a range of technology-related teaching, learning, and class management topics.

Through the Technology Learning Assistant (TLA) program, faculty members at University Park may apply to have a technology-savvy student provide one-on-one assistance on a range of technology-related teaching, learning, and class management topics. Students may provide tutoring in PowerPoint, Excel, file management, e-mail, web page development, electronic grade book software, and other tools and applications. TLAs are also qualified to demonstrate the use of Penn State services such as ANGEL, iTunes U podcasting, Adobe Connect desktop videoconferencing, ITS Streaming Services, and the Blogs at Penn State.
