In late October, hundreds gathered in Austin, TX for HighEdWeb11, a unique conference that was created by higher ed web professionals, for higher ed web professionals - a truly peer-driven event.

At HighEdWeb, it's hard to tell the community from the conference and the conference from the community. During four days in Austin, TX, higher education web professionals gather great ideas, network with peers, share experiences, and make lasting friendships. Truly an event that is professional development at its very best. 

Jamie Oberdick, editor of the Daily Buzz, traveled to Austin this past October and interviewed attendees to find out why HighEdWeb is such a fast-growing, effective event.
