An ANGEL update is scheduled for October 5. The update will include the following changes.
Merged Roster Manager tool
New instructions can be found on the Merged Roster Manager page. In large course merges, instructors may experience difficulty using certain tools. Users are urged to read the "Merge Multiple Course Sections or Cross-Listed Courses" ANGEL Help and Information Guide article at http://kb.its.psu.edu/cms/article/23 if they plan to create a large merged course.
Lesson Copy Item tool
A problem with the various lesson content copy tools has been fixed. Previously, the associated files for content items were not copying over.
New tracking system for support requests
ANGEL support will be moving to a new ticket tracking system, JIRA, in early October. The only difference that ANGEL users will notice on their end is that their contact/user information will be automatically filled in on the ANGEL support contact form. If a user has an existing open issue with ANGEL support, the case number that is used to reference the issue will be maintained in the new system and you may still refer to it when working with ANGEL support.
Course Submission and Consultation System
When a proposal had been placed on a pending status and returned multiple times, the submitter encountered an error when attempting to return the proposal to the required signatory. This problem has been fixed.
The wording on the proposal print preview page has been updated to match the proposal submission form.
