Penn State’s Palmer Museum of Art exists both in this world, and in a parallel universe. This isn’t surrealism meets science fiction, but the efforts of Palmer staff and the Educational Gaming Commons to create a “virtual” Palmer Museum in the virtual world Second Life.

There is a trend towards faculty assigning projects where students must work on a team to complete an assignment. To ensure students have access to areas where they can work together on group projects, Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) has been installing collaborative learning spaces equipped with the latest technologies around the University Park campus.

Christopher Long, associate professor of philosophy, has created a podcast series, blog, and video to open up dialogue on Socratic politics among colleagues and students inside and outside Penn State.
