Adobe Connect unavailable July 30 due to upgrade to new version

The Adobe Connect server will be unavailable from 5:00 a.m. to midnight EDT on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, as Connect is upgraded to the newest release, Version 7.

The new release will have some interface changes and provide some new features. One new feature will allow faculty to edit and download their meeting recordings. Most other meeting functionality will remain the same. For more information on the changes, please see the "What's New" posting on the Connect community site.

All existing meetings will continue to work under the new version. All permissions will also be retained, so any faculty or staff now able to create meetings will be able to do so under the new release.

As soon as the new software is in place, Information Technology Services will send out an alert to the Adobe Connect community site announcing the upgrade completion.  For more information, contact breeze@psu.edu.
