What is it?

ANGEL is a Web-based course management system centrally supported at Penn State that allows instructors to create or upload a wide variety of course materials in a single location, without the need to know HTML.

Log on to ANGEL

Benefits to Teaching and Learning

  • Post course materials and a syllabus online.
  • Facilitate effective course communication.
  • Easily gauge student progress, even in large classes.
  • Extend learning beyond the classroom.

Quick-Start

  1. Go to http://cms.psu.edu, click Log On, and enter your Access Account user ID and password.
  2. Select the name of a course on My Profile to enter it.
  3. Add course content.  For directions, see the "Courses" category within the Help and Information Guide.
  4. Activate the course to make it visible to students.
